What is the BeeKind Garden?
In our BeeKind Garden program, children participate in a unique therapeutic program that was established to instill values of gentleness, kindness, and empathy in children who have experienced violence in their homes. Paired with a dedicated volunteer, each child receives personalized attention and engaging activities such as arts and crafts, tending to plants, and interacting with friendly animals. One key aspect of BeeKind Garden is providing a secure environment where children can fully embrace their childhood. Volunteers and children come together for a series of 5 two-hour sessions, creating lasting memories along the way.

In supporting children who have experienced past abuse,
The Garden Employs Three Key Approaches
A dedicated child therapist is available to guide youngsters in navigating their emotions and behaviors, while also offering valuable insights to volunteers interacting with these vulnerable individuals.
Through environmental education, children discover the joy of caring for living beings and forging a deep bond with nature by engaging in gardening and outdoor pursuits.
By interacting with gentle animals, children are encouraged to embrace compassion and understanding, fostering trust and positive relationships.
